The first place that I went to is Fort Qaitbay. Constructed in 1477, Fort Qaitbay is a defensive fort next to the Mediterranean Sea. The fort has survived attacks from the Ottoman Empire, but it still seems to be in very good condition.

The next place I went to is Bibliotheca Alexandrina. This place is a major cultural center and library. Bibliotheca is a homage towards the Library of Alexandria, which was one of the most significant libraries in the ancient world. There is six different main libraries throughout the building:
The Arts and Multimedia Library, The Taha Hussein Library for the visually impaired, The Children's Library, The Young People's Library, The Microforms Library, and what I wanted to see the most,
The Rare Books and Special Collections Library. There is around 6,000 rare books, maps, and manuscripts, which I am really excited to see.

4:58 P.M.
The Final Place I want to go to is the Pyramid of Giza. Giza is the oldest of the seven wonders of the world, and ironically the only one largely intact. It was the largest man-made structures for over 3,000 years. The inside contains a queen and a king chamber for there resting places of there sarcophagus's.
