Day 4: Puerto Rico

Image
10:40 A.M. Today I have just arrived at the Port of San Juan from Miami, Florida. The only thing I really have to say is that I am very excited to be able to explore this island of paradise. 11:13 A.M. The first area I want to go to is Old San Juan. This is the usual for tourists to go to, so I expected it to be chocked full of people already. If there is one thing I always love to find out about a certain location, it would have to be its history and since it has been over 500 years since Old San Juan has been settled, there is a lot to uncover. 11:36 A.M. Lets start off the expedition by going to the mansion of owned by one of the more famous explorers, Ponce De Leon. The manor seems to be modest, but with what they had for building and with the fact that this was built when the people were still trying to settle on the land, it would then seem to be a luxurious place 1:37 P.M. The next place I went to is San Felipe del Morro, which is an old fort built by the Spanish use...

Day 3: Cancun

10:59 AM I have just arrived in Cancun, Mexico and it looked like paradise from inside the plane! You could see the beaches of the resort and the bright blue ocean water. 12:30 PM The first place I went to is was to The Coba Ruins. Coba is one of the Mayan Pyramids in the mexico area. The first thing that I had to say about it was just extraordinary how such primitive tribes could build large structures like these to use as shelter.   1:46 PM: After visiting Coba ruins, my next stop is the Xcaret Park. It is an ecological park just made for tourism. I swam with the dolphins, which was one of the most fun experiences I had in a long time. There was a coral reef aquarium that housed a multitude of species of fish. Not to mention their main attraction, a river you can float down to a Mayan village.

Day Two: Vancouver

10:45 AM I have just landed in Vancouver IA and the lobby kinda looks exactly how I would think a Canadian airport would look. With carpet flooring and wooden statues, this airport seems a lot more homey than DC's airport. 11:35 AM: The absolute first place I wanted to see first is the Ilanaaq, also known as the rock statue that is the first thing that comes to everyone's mind when thinking about Vancouver. To get there, how ever, we had to take a cable car to the site. The forest around Vancouver seems surprisingly untouched for it being such a large city. 1:30 PM: After riding the cable car back down, my next stop was the Capilano Suspension Bridge. At almost 500 feet long and 270 feet above the river, crossing this bridge can be a daunting task for some. With the bridge being so high, you can easily see far below you and all of the different kinds of flora around. 3:47 PM: Now, after getting back from the bridge, I then traveled to Harbour Centre. At almost 5...
